Career Day and ISTEAM Expo
Monday January 26th 2026Career Day and ISTEAM Expo to “Grow” & Nurture Young Minds
Career Day and the ISTEAM EXPO stand as one of the most anticipated annual events at Al Azhar 55, designed to enrich students’ learning experiences and showcase their growth. Through this event, students present creative products and projects inspired by what they have learned in the classroom, turning knowledge into meaningful, real-world applications.
In 2025, the event embraced the theme G.R.E.E.N.—Grow, Reimagine, Engineer, Educate, Nurture—highlighting the importance of sustainability and innovation. Leading up to the main event, students participated in a series of pre-event activities, including planting initiatives, crea
ng displays from recycled bottle caps, a No Bag Day campaign, and designing invitation letters using recycled paper. These activities fostered environmental awareness while encouraging creativity and responsibility.
The Career Day program was made even more special through collaboration with parents, who represented a wide range of professions, from chefs and programmers to researchers, entrepreneurs, and artists. Through engaging storytelling and interactive sessions, students were inspired to dream big and explore future possibilities. They also developed essential skills by asking questions, listening actively, and gaining respect for the diversity of careers—building confidence and communication along the way.
During the ISTEAM EXPO, students proudly presented their projects and experiments to visitors, all aligned with the Go Green theme. Open to parents and the wider community, the expo invited guests to engage directly through discussions, hands-on activities, and feedback. As a thoughtful closing touch, visitors received plants cultivated by the students—a symbol of growth, care, and sustainability.
More than just an exhibition, ISTEAM EXPO is a meaningful learning journey. It nurtures research skills, teamwork, and the confidence to share ideas—empowering students to grow into innovative thinkers and future leaders.
