National Assessment was a Success
Thursday October 10th 2024Grade 5 students of Al Azhar 55 Primary School Yogyakarta successfully completed the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK (Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer)) of the academic year 2023-2024 on October 23-24, 2023. This assessment is a requirement set forth by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. This is a mechanism for the government to oversee schools in order to ensure the maintenance and continual improvement of their quality.
The ANBK started with the literacy test and the character survey on the first day. Following on the second day were the numeracy test and the learning environment survey. The literacy and numeracy tests were to assess the minimum level of competency in reading and numeracy skills.
Meanwhile, the character survey was to find out if the attitudes, values, beliefs, and behaviors of the students’ have met the minimum standard. Then, the learning environment survey serves to reveal the excellence of different elements of input, as well as the teaching and learning process in schools.
Al Azhar 55 is always committed to holding teaching and learning activities professionally. Therefore, as part of the assessment process, we have made thorough preparations for the required facilities. Expectedly, we are pleased to announce that the ANBK of the academic year 2023-2024 has been successfully completed.
The end of this National Assessment does not mark the culmination of the student’s learning journey. We are committed to providing ongoing support to students as we nurture their fullest potential.
